Sangaiyumpham is divided into two GPs, namely Sangaiyumpham Pt-I & Pt-II GP with a total population of 12898 heads (2011 census) and this two GPs are being covered with Piped water supply schemes. There are three pipe water schemes at Pt-I GP and one pipe water supply scheme at Pt-II GP. All these pipe water supply schemes are functioning properly to cover these two GPs. In order to provide these two GPs 24 x 7 days water supply, an overhead tank with a design capacity of 4.54 lakhs litres is being proposed in this project.
