The state sub-project of North Eastern State Roads Investment Program (NESRIP) Project-2 “Improvement/upgradation of roads MN06-CW1 : Tupul to Bishnupur (50.800 Km)” is a central sector Externally Aided Project under Ministry of DONER, Govt. of India with financial assistance from Asian Development Bank (ADB). The project is being taken up as 100% centrally Sponsored Scheme under Ministry of DONER.
Under the Sub-Project, the length of the project road is 50.800 Km and it will improve the earthen track road to the intermediate double lane standard having a width of 6.00m (i/c 0.50m extra width for curves) in the hill section of 48.00 Km in length and 5.50m in the valley section of 2.80 Km at the international standard comprising of WMM-250mm, DBM - 60mm and BC - 40mm with a minor bridge; NP4 pipes culverts, Box culverts and protection works.
